By uploading an image, you confirm that you are the legal parent or guardian of any minors depicted and that you own all rights to the photo. You grant Boring Books LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to use the image solely to create custom artwork for your order. This may involve AI processing through third-party providers. We do not use your image for marketing without your separate written consent. Uploaded files are stored securely and deleted within five days after your order ships. You may not upload unlawful, infringing, or inappropriate content. Final artwork is a stylized interpretation and may vary from the original image.

 

Photo Upload Terms & Conditions


These terms apply to all customers who upload images to Boring Books LLC for the purpose of creating personalized products.

 

 

1. Ownership and Permission


By uploading an image, you confirm that:

 

  • You are the legal parent or guardian of any minors depicted in the image, and

  • You own all rights to the image or have full legal permission from the rights holder to use it for this purpose.

 

 

2. License to Use

 

You grant Boring Books LLC a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Use the image solely to create custom artwork for your order.

  • Store, process, and modify the image as necessary to complete your product.

  • This license is for fulfillment purposes only and expires once your order is completed.

 

 

3. AI Processing


The creation of custom artwork may involve AI-based image generation and enhancement.

  • AI processing may be conducted through trusted third-party providers.

  • AI output is a stylized interpretation of the original image and may not be an exact replica.

 

 

4. Marketing Use

 

We will not use your uploaded image for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes without your separate written consent.

 

 

5. Storage and Deletion

 

  • Uploaded files are stored securely.

  • All uploaded images are deleted from our systems within five (5) days after your order ships.

  • Generated artwork files may be retained in accordance with our production and recordkeeping requirements.

 

 

6. Prohibited Content

 

You may not upload any content that is:

  • Unlawful, infringing, or in violation of intellectual property rights.

  • Obscene, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.

  • Depicting any individual without their consent.

 

 

7. Liability and Indemnification

 

  • You are solely responsible for the content you upload.

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boring Books LLC from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from the images you provide.

  • We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI interpretations or for variations between the original image and the final artwork.

 

 

8. Final Artwork

 

  • All final artwork is a stylized interpretation of the original image.

  • Minor variations in style, color, or detail may occur as part of the creative process.
