It’s a living thread that connects you directly to your ancient ancestors. Maternal ancestry can be traced through mitochondrial DNA, but that requires a different method and story which is much more complex to follow.

Yes — we use AI tools to help transform your child’s photo into beautiful, illustrated artwork. But this is far from a fully automated process. Every image goes through multiple rounds of human review, editing, and refinement to ensure it captures your child’s likeness and fits seamlessly into the story. Using AI in this way is actually very hands-on — it’s a creative collaboration between technology and our team, not a push-button process.

Absolutely. Your child’s photo is used only to create your personalized book and is never shared or used for marketing without your written consent. All images are stored securely and deleted from our systems within 5 days after your order ships. You can read our full policy here.

After you place your order, we’ll create a personalized PDF proof of your book based on your selections. You’ll have the chance to review and request changes before it goes to print. Once you approve the proof, your book is sent to production and can no longer be altered.

Production takes 5–7 business days, with an expedited 1-day option available for an additional cost. Choose your preferred shipping speed at checkout, from overnight delivery to budget-friendly no-rush options.
